Chronic pain can be described as, mild or excruciating pain that ranges from spontaneous and frequent episodes to continuous and relentless pain to which the duration is over six months. Common sources of chronic pain stem from, joint pain, frequent migraines, injury, and back pain as well as other generalized muscle, nerve and joint trauma.
Chronic pain not only takes a physical toll on a person, it also takes an extensive emotional and mental toll such as anxiety and depression. These symptoms can often increase the level of pain a patient feels. Our trained therapists will perform a thorough evaluation to help identify problems with muscle strength, flexibility, posture and mobility to form a clear picture of each individual’s situation.
