Patients who have had or who currently have neurological diseases or injuries are at high risk of mobility loss. It is superlative that they receive neurological physical therapy to ensure a functioning quality of life. When injuries to the brain, spinal cord or central nervous system occur, it affects movement and sensation and can create loss of function within patients. Neurological physical therapy aims to increase the odds of regaining function to the body. Without therapy, patient’s physical and mental health will decrease and may lead to weight gain and other serious health problems. Essentially a poor quality of life.

Our physical therapists will educate and assist patients on how to properly function again. Most, if not all functions may be regained during this course of therapy. Thus improving over all quality of life and independence for the patient.
